Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use hireme.link and when you enquire about work with Chay Levi Shields. They are written in plain language. They are not a substitute for a signed proposal or contract on a specific engagement.

The site is provided to describe my background and services. Content is offered as-is. I take care to keep it accurate, but I do not promise that it is complete or current at every moment, and I may change or remove pages without notice.

The service pages describe the kind of work I do. They are not an offer to supply those services on fixed terms. Any engagement starts only when we have agreed scope, fees, and timing in writing, usually by email or a separate proposal.

Until that agreement is in place, nothing on this site creates a client relationship or a duty to take on a project.

You can contact me by email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or Discord. Please do not send confidential information until we have agreed how it will be handled. I will reply as soon as I reasonably can, but I do not guarantee a response time on unpaid enquiries.

The text, layout, and branding on this site belong to me unless otherwise stated. You may not copy the site or present it as your own. Project case studies describe work I have been involved in; the underlying brands remain with their owners.

Work I produce for a client belongs to that client only to the extent set out in the agreement for that project.

Links to a CMS, invoicing platform, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or other tools are provided for convenience. I am not responsible for the availability, terms, or content of those services.

This website is a public portfolio. I am not liable for any loss you incur from relying on information on the site, or from being unable to access it, except where the law does not allow that limit. Liability for paid work is dealt with in the agreement for that work.

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last revised. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law in your country says otherwise.
